FALMOUTH CRANBERRY HARVEST FESTIVAL


Celebrate Cape Cod's Cranberry Farming Heritage

Saturday, October 15 from 10a.m. to 3p.m.

at the town-owned Coonamessett River Bogs

Watch a wet harvest 

Enjoy musical entertainment and children's activities

Listen to the tale of Clarence the Cranberry Who Couldn't Bounce

Make a miniature bog in a cup

Examine old cranberry scoops, historic photos & cranberry crate labels

Join a guided walking tour of the bogs

Lunch at the Portuguese-American Club tent 

Take home cranberry cookies, candies, jellies and breads,

jewelry, soap, candles, and decorations,

local berries, organic and standard; fresh and dried 

Rain date:  Sunday.

The Falmouth Cranberry Harvest Festival, Inc. is a nonprofit group dedicated to providing opportunities for the public to learn about and preserve the cranberry farming heritage of Falmouth and Cape Cod.

The festival is supported in part by the Woods Hole Foundation

and the Cape and Islands Farm Bureau.

Featured Farm
With the motto, "We are outstanding in our field," Tony Andrews Farm is an established produce stand in East Falmouth, Massachusetts specializing in vegetables. The historic farm was established in 1935 by Tony Andrews, a Cape Verdean immigrant, and is currently managed by his son, Geoff (pictured in photo).

In addition to the farmstand, which offers a variety of fruits, vegetables and plants, you can pick your own fruits and vegetables, including strawberries, peas, corn, tomatoes, pumpkins and sunflowers are available. The farm is also host to the annual "Harvest of Horrors" haunted house at Halloween.
