John Parker Road Bogs (between Rte 28 & Sandwich Road)--E. Falmouth
10 AM to 3 PM - ON THE BOG - FREE TO ALL


Come enjoy an old-fashioned family celebration of a
cranberry bog being wet harvested before your eyes!


TASTE THE MANY HOMEMADE CRANBERRY TREATS
Baked goodies, cranberry juices, cranberry breads, jellies, relishes, etc.


See an antique CRANBERRY SEPARATOR remove the chaff from your own bag of fresh berries
--delicious Portuguese food available under tent while listening to the Falmouth Fiddlers
--live entertainment under the tent--50s & 60s music byThe Grand Daddios--reminisce with experienced local farmers--listen to their stories--guided bog walks describing historical remnants, bog plants and animals by experienced guides


Historical displays on cranberry farming and harvesting
Demonstrations of old-time crafts, i.e., wool spinning, Nantucket basket making, Cranberry wreath making, etc.


Free Children's Activities and Cranberry games
Create a Bog-In-A-Cup--face painting--a live bee hive used to pollinate the Cranberry flowers--find the queen bee--sample honey--dance to "The Cranberry Bounce" with the Carol Sykes' Suzuki Violinists--talk with a live Clown, Cranberries, Pumpkin and a roaming Ventriloquist
